Mr Opoku further assured the Committee that the Nkoko Nkitinkitsi programme is designed to boost poultry production nationwide, reduce reliance on imports, and enhance food security. The initiative forms part of the broader Planting for Food and Jobs agenda, which seeks to modernise Ghana’s agriculture and position it as a driver of economic growth.
